So you’ve got yourself a Drupal site, and it’s feeling a little neglected. Why not bring it to the Drupal Open Lab? Or maybe you don’t have a website but you need a new one. Stop by and learn what is involved in working with our incredible content management system (Drupal). You can also find out what resources are available to help you along the way.
Think of the Open Labs as a sort of 4-H club for website owners. It's a free program that embodies the spirit of experimentation, learning and collaboration. Each session will have members of Web Services and Univesity Marketing on hand. We have developers, site builders, graphic artists, content organizers, analytics gurus and if we don't have experience on hand we are happy to make recommendations or learn with you.
Bring your projects to the lab and we’ll assemble a team on the fly to either workshop solutions right on the spot or set you on a course to continue to work on your own with confidence. Are you lacking a robust web support team? Well now for two hours per week you’ve got one.
When and where
The Drupal Open Lab is held every Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is in the Autzen classroom in the Valley Library. If you are on the main floor take a left down the hall and it will be the first room on your right. On occasion that room will be booked so we relocate to the Central Web Services office. It is on the fourth floor of the library. If you come from the elevators take a left and it will be the first door on your right. There is a reception desk that can lead you back. You can always check the feed below to see the schedule of labs and other training opportunities.
